Sharing and Blocking USB Devices
When installed on your Mac, USB over Network (macOS version) allows you to share physical USB devices, which can be later connected to another computers with USB over Network Client or USB over Network (macOS version) installed, or redirected into remote desktop session with USB for Remote Desktop Server running.
Sharing USB Devices
To share the USB device, select it on the Devices pane and click the icon on the toolbar, or Control-click the device and select Share.
As a result, the device will become shared and ready for connection to the remote computer.
Blocking USB Devices
If you want to make the shared device inaccessible for remote computers (e.g. you need to use it locally) you have to stop USB device sharing. Select the device and click the icon on the toolbar, or Control-click the device and select Block.
USB Device Statuses
USB device is available for local use.
USB device is shared and waiting for connection from the remote client computer.
USB device is shared and already connected to the remote client computer.
USB device is blocked and available for local use.
